Melbourne, Australia – for immediate release, July 15th, 2005 – David Burton, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Compumedics Limited (ASX:CMP), today announced that Tim Gresham has joined Compumedics Ltd as Business Director, Asia and South America. Asia represents one of the most exciting medical-device growth-market opportunities for Compumedics, particularly considering the significant growth outlook for regions such as China, Japan and Korea. Tim will be reporting to the CEO. In this position, Tim will be responsible for all Compumedics sales in the prescribed area. He will be tasked with achieving specific sales goals and will provide strategic management of the regions, professional guidance on our developing Sales and Marketing Systems and Processes, support for distributors and leadership for his direct reports. Tim will be a welcome addition to the Compumedics Ltd management team and most importantly, enhance, drive and focus upon our Asia growth performance.
Tim comes with an impressive educational background of Technical Life Sciences and Business Management. He has a BSc and an MBA. He spent 8 years in various capacities with Abbott Laboratories in their Australian operation. He has worked in sales and marketing capacities covering a wide variety of health-care applications from anti-infectives and hormone replacement to HIV medicine, hepatitis diagnostics and endocrinology.
His work with health authorities and Abbott’s large corporate customers has seen him become one of Abbott Australia’s most highly awarded managers. Tim left Abbott at the end of 2000 to embark on an MBA in Dublin, relocating his family to Europe. Immediately following the MBA Tim spearheaded the marketing strategy for a small UK-based monitoring company, Deltex Medical, enhancing sales efforts in existing markets and continuing the march into high potential growth regions across the globe. Tim has spent the last two years with VIASYS Healthcare as Business Director Asia Pacific. In this time he developed and executed a comprehensive plan for investment and business development in China and grew business in the other Asia Pacific countries by an average of 25%.

Tim resides in Australia and will travel extensively in his assigned areas.

Ben So appointed Senior Business Manager, Asia Compumedics Ltd

David Burton is further delighted to announce that Ben So has joined Compumedics Ltd as Senior Business Manager, Asia. Ben will be reporting to Tim Gresham, Business Director, Asia and South America. In this position, Ben will be responsible for Compumedics sales in his prescribed area. He will be tasked with achieving specific sales goals and will provide guidance, sales leadership, training and support for distributors and his colleagues. Ben will be a key member of the Asia Pacific Team and Compumedics Ltd.
Originally an electrical engineer, Ben also comes to Compumedics from VIASYS Healthcare/Nicolet Biomedical and brings over 20 years’ experience in business development and leadership in Medical and Life Science corporations. He has Sales, Business Development and General Management experience in Neurological Diagnostics, Medical Equipment, Bio-Medical and Life Science industries.
Ben has spent the last 13 years developing an industry-leading Distribution Network across Asia Pacific for Nicolet Biomedical with lines of business including: EP/ EMG, IOM, EEG, ENG, Sleep Diagnostics, TCD and Auditory Diagnostics.

He resides on territory in Hong Kong.
