Position Summary:
EEG/ERP Application Support Analyst-I is a junior-level technical support engineering position that supports Neuroscan product lines – this includes its flagship neurophysiological software CURRY, the instrumental EEG amplifier series and the stimulus presentation solutions. The position offers the candidate an opportunity to work with internal neurophysiological experts and external customers to advance the studies in research, clinical and translational brain science fields by providing top product support service and training to the end users. You will be trained in both the technical and customer relations management domains, an ideal entry position that prepares the skills you need to advance your future career in either technical or business directions.
You will report directly to the Neuroscan Business Development and Commercial Manager and the Customer Service Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting Compumedics/Neuroscan Customers performing clinical and research EEG and ERP recordings and analysis on subjects and patients of all ages (infant to geriatric) in a Support Call Center.
- Supporting Customers in practical techniques of connecting patients/subjects with electrodes/monitoring equipment needed to record EEG
- Onsite EEG/ERP installation within US/Canada, expecting 50% travel time
- Supporting Customer Analysis of EEG/ERP recordings
- Configuring Custom Reports using MSWORD and Compumedics Configurations
- Support Customers Research Stimulus Paradigms
- Providing in-depth support of Neuroscan products distributed by Compumedics USA, Inc. Performing remote session installations and problem solving, with consultation from experienced staff
- Coordinate Neuroscan-related administration transactions with customers
- Must have a temperament suitable for direct interaction with the users under what can be demanding conditions. This includes friendly, considerable patience and communication skills
- Must have ability and flexibility to multi-task on different assignments from technical support, customer relationship management and product testing
- A self-starter who can work independently with minimum supervision as well as contribute to a Support Team environment
- An eagerness to learn new products and capabilities
- Ability to provide remote support for installations or troubleshoot Compumedics Neuroscan Systems.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, Psychology or related field with an emphasis on Psychophysiology/Neuroscience and an understanding of the basics of EEG and Evoked Potential recording (preferred)
- Ancillary education in Biology, Engineering and/or IT is helpful
- Familiarity/fluency with Windows-based OS computers is required.
Experience Requirements:
- Laboratory or clinical experience in recording and analyzing psychophysiological activity, especially EEGs and ERP’s
- Knowledge of Compumedics PSG/EEG Software desired
- Applicants should have proficiency Clinical EEG, Epilepsy Monitoring (LTM) and ERP
- Minimum of 2+ years of Installation of PC’s and Hardware
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office products; Excel and PowerPoint and Word are required.
