Compumedics is currently searching for a Sleep Product Educator

The Sleep Product Educator is an essential part of the Customer Service and Sales teams. This role requires strong technical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to learn and teach advanced software applications.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Onsite and Remote Training on Compumedics Sleep products and systems to commercial and clinical customers prior to deployment.
  • Provide Onsite and Remote installation/post-installation product support of all Compumedics Sleep products to commercial and clinical customers.
  • Coordinate and conduct customer competency assessments with appropriate follow up activity.
  • Maintain clinical training records.
  • Contribute to the ongoing clinical training needs analysis by collecting feedback and providing solutions where needed.
  • Work with our engineering and creative team to develop education, training and product application resources for patient use, to optimize their experience and success in using Compumedics Sleep products.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experienced in the sleep medicine industry, with a high degree of clinical knowledge.
  • An experienced trainer and presenter who is confident and capable of training small groups (10-15 people) of commercial, research and clinical customers.
  • Proficiency in developing training and educational materials and a passion for delivering education/training programs.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and manage time effectively.
  • The ability to provide Remote access/Phone Support to commercial and clinical customers.
  • A self-starter who can work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.

 

ROLE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of Product Training/Education Experience
  • Applicants should have a well-rounded clinical background with an interest in teaching.
  • High level of computer literacy including Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Preferred Current qualification in Training & Assessment (Cert IV or above)
  • Preferred Previous experience in Sleep medicine.
  • Preferred previous experience in Clinical Education

 

ROLE EDUCATION REQUREMENTS:

  • Preferred Bachelor of Science or equivalent (Physiology, Applied Health, Health Sciences)
  • Preferred Registered Polysomnography Technologist Certification – RPSGT

 

TRAVEL REQUIRED:

  • Required to do some Travel interstate within Australia (10%-15% of the time)
  • Required to have a valid Driver’s License

 

HOME BASE:

  • Australia (East Coast)
  • Sydney (Home based)
  • Melbourne (Hybrid role within Melbourne Head Office)
  • Brisbane (Home based)
