Compumedics is currently searching for a Clinical Support Specialist based in the United States of America to join our Global Support Team. Reporting to the National Vice President of Sales, the Clinical Support Specialist is responsible for supporting Somfit installations from coast to coast and technical support to healthcare providers.

Location: Based in United States of America. The successful candidate can live anywhere in the USA, but must live near an International Airport and be willing to support our customers across all US time zones

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Support Specialist to join our team in supporting Somfit installations from coast to coast. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and technical support to healthcare providers, ensuring the successful implementation and use of our sleep study solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of sleep disorders, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional clinical support.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Support: 
  • Provide clinical expertise and support to healthcare providers regarding the use of home sleep study devices.
  • Assist in the interpretation of sleep study results and provide recommendations for patient care.
  • Conduct training sessions for healthcare professionals on the proper use and maintenance of sleep study equipment.
Technical Support: 
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of home sleep study devices.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with the technical support team to resolve more complex problems.
    Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, device usage, and support activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on clinical support activities and outcomes.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide clinical insights and support during product demonstrations and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on device performance and suggest improvements.
Travel Requirements: Travel up to 80%
  • Required to Travel within the United States.
  • Required to have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Required to have a dependable vehicle.
  • Required to have a credit card to hold 30 days of Expenses.

Qualifications:

Education: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, or a related healthcare field.
Certification: 
  • Must be certified as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in sleep medicine or a related field.
  • Experience with home sleep study devices and telehealth solutions is highly desirable.
Skills: 
  • Strong understanding of sleep disorders and their treatment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using clinical software and electronic health records (EHR).
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide remote support.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
